We all have individual aspirations, skills and strengths, and at Bluebird Care North Hampshire we can help you choose your own career path.

We have developed our very own Career Pathway which has been designed to provide a progression within each role. Our Career Pathway allows you to start off as a trainee care assistant, with opportunities to develop to a care specialist and homecare professional. With 100% of our office staff having started as a trainee care assistant we are experts at progressing your career. 

The right journey for you - you might prefer to remain with your customers providing high quality care and support in their homes, or you may choose to move into an office role, where your passion for care can combine with your commercial ability to drive the business forward. Our wonderful team will support you along the way. 

Together with your line manager, you can use our Career Pathway to discuss the development activities which will help you achieve your goals. Whatever you choose, there is an opportunity to develop your career. Working for Bluebird Care can be a vocation, not just a job.

For care staff who have been with us for over 3 months, we offer an apprenticeship programme in which they gain:

• QCF in Health and Social Care level 2 or 3 diploma 

• Functional Skills Level 1 or 2 in Mathematics

• Functional Skills Level 1 or 2 in English

For all care staff, we offer BTEC Level 2 in Awareness of Dementia Care and and End Of Life Awarness.

Basic Life Training

For office staff, we offer QCF in Health and Social Care level 5.
