Kerry’s Story

I came to work for Bluebird Care Swale 4 years ago, I had a little care experience after caring for my Mum until she passed away. I really wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and chose a career in care.

I love my role as a Care Assistant and find it so rewarding.  Making a difference to people with just a smile or a kind word is such a lovely job.

I now work in the Office 3 days a week as Care Supervisor and lead the other Care Assistants to strive to be amazing Carer’s and to be the best that they can be.  We are a team here at Bluebird Care Swale and work together to ensure that all our Customers have the care they need, when they need it.

I was proud to receive the extra mile and long standing carer award at the Annual Bluebird Care Swale awards in 2019
