I had a great time shadowing and learnt a lot from the carers as they were very helpful and supportive. I am enjoying my role so far and know that there is the support from the team if and when I need it.

Bluebird Care have been so flexible with my working hours to fit around my other job. I have received birthday cards, a Christmas gift and care friend points which really make me feel valued. I am proud to be part of Bluebird Care as they really value the staff. The customers are all lovely and we are trained thoroughly so I always feel safe delivering care. Everyone in the office and management team are so friendly and approachable.

Bluebird Care was probably the best entry into care I could have had, giving me my first opportunity in care work alongside the skills and confidence to become a competent carer. I think that all carers should start in domiciliary care as it prepares you for pretty much anything.

3 months ago I decided to do this👇🏼 I already have a fantastic full time role with an amazing company but I would often find myself with spare time, some evenings and weekends when I didn’t have my boys and would spend it sat watching Netflix and annoying others. So I thought about maybe picking up another part time job to fill those hours. I wanted something that would challenge me and something where I could help make a difference…. 3 months in this is the best decision I could have made. It’s very hard work and difficult at times but the rewards are just priceless. I have met some wonderful people who have had amazing lives and stories to tell. I have never felt so humbled and lucky to be able to help these people. ❤️ If you are thinking of filling a gap like me, please consider care work and helping your community and others, you won’t regret it!

I just wanted to say how grateful I was for Carer J's help and assistance on Friday morning at our new customer's home during the call. Carer J was absolutely brilliant and a wonderful carer!

I have been working for Bluebird Care for just under 3 months now and I have never enjoyed a job as much as I do here. The training provided was very detailed and all of the other staff made sure we were 100%25 comfortable before going out for our first run alone. I would highly recommend Bluebird if you are looking for a career in care. 🙂

I have been working for Bluebird Care now for just over 12 months. Having never done care work before and hearing some of the problems my friends have had with other companies, I was apprehensive! But I am over the moon I had Bluebird Care to work for in my 1st caring role. They have made me feel so appreciated and part of a great team. There is always someone to give me advice and support when I need it. I can honestly say I love working for Bluebird and the job satisfaction really is second to none!

I have had a great few days training. I felt so welcome and I have learnt so much already. I can't wait to carry on, learn some more and complete my shadowing.

During my shadow training I met Vicky, an amazing carer and coordinator. She was a fantastic role model, instructor and so knowledgeable about each person we met. I was honoured to work with her! I have since heard from customers and other carers that she is consistently caring, methodical and adaptive. She is a problem solver who meets the challenges head on and in an effective and efficient way, both in the community and in the office.

I would recommend working for Bluebird Care but be mindful it does involve driving quite a bit.

I can say from experience that Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire are the best care company I have worked for; all the staff are amazing.

I started with Bluebird Care during the first world lockdown and always felt safe by being provided with and using the correct PPE and am kept well informed about any changes to guidance. I would definitely recommend working for Bluebird Care but would also advise you sometimes need to be flexible with your hours.

The office and management team are there for any issue or problem that might arise. They have open communication with the carers and always helpful when needed. The care plans are up to date, detailed and give you all the information you need to deliver the care. If you ever have concerns, the team in the office are always available to help.
