Meet our team of care professionals

Steve Davie
Franchise Director

Home Care in Bromley is provided through a franchise which is owned by Steve and Lesley Davie and their family. Steve is a Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience of organising the delivery of high quality professional services to demanding customers.

In addition to his accountancy profession background, Steve has several years experience in service-orientated consumer facing businesses at the 'high end' of the retail sector. This background, together with the support and experience of the Bluebird Care franchisor, has made it possible for Steve to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s Care specialists can provide structured and high quality care services to a range of customers within the Borough of Bromley.

In addition to his Bromley Home Care responsibilities, Steve is a Governor at the University of Greenwich, treasurer of his local residents association in Beckenham, husband of more than 30 years to Lesley, father of three grown up children, and a lifelong and (after many years of misery) ultimately rewarded supporter of Manchester City football club.

Steve decided to provide Home Care in Bromley and become a Bluebird Care franchisee because he wanted to bring his knowledge and energy to a worthwhile activity that will bring benefits to vulnerable people in his residential area. The 'Good Old-Fashioned Service' ethos of Bluebird Care matches Steve’s attitude to work, and he is committed to creating a Care service that is treasured by its customers.

Ben Davie
Franchise Director

Ben’s first 5 years post-University were spent in the Publishing industry, commissioning and developing content for one of the world's leading publishers of science, medical and technology books and journals.
In 2011, he took on a new challenge and joined his father, Steve, as a Director of Bluebird Care Bromley, and subsequently the Sevenoaks and Lewisham & Southwark franchises.
Ben’s role, alongside Steve, is to oversee the back-office administration of the agency, in particular the core non-care related activities of finance, marketing and overall business strategy, as well as supporting their Registered Managers in their human resources and customer service responsibilities.  
Ben is proud to be part of an award-winning family business, especially one which provides such a high-quality – and highly-valued – service to the local community.

Odion Ogbeide
Care Services Manager - Team A (West)

Odion first joined Bluebird Care Bromley in 2012 as a member of the care team, working part time while studying Health and Social care at Greenwich University.

Odion has over 10 years’ experience in children’s’ care: assessing needs and writing and facilitating personalised programmes to support specific children’s needs, in conjunction with a wide range of partner agencies, families and other carers.

In her previous senior role at a nursery, Odion was a key figure in a high-performing team which was rated Outstanding in their last inspection by Ofsted. She brings the same skill set to her new role at Bluebird Care, further enhancing the quality of care and service experience enjoyed by her customers.

Outside work, Odion is committed to living a fun-filled life and helping those around her to do the same. She can cook up a storm, she loves entertaining and spending time with my family; she also enjoys singing and claims to have a great singing voice… though concedes that her kids might contest this point!

She is also part of a community transformation team at her local church, hosting special events for families, doing art activities and giving out gifts during festival periods.

Ismail Ali
Care Services Manager - Team B (East)

Prior to joining Bluebird Care Bromley, Ismail worked as a Care Assistant for over 4 years in a Residential Care Home for adults with complex care needs, severe learning and physical disabilities. Here Ismail gained broad experience and developed a wide range of skills, from PEG feeding to using custom-made specialist support equipment, and developed a specialized interest in mental health conditions and epilepsy. By the time Ismail left he had reached the level of Deputy Manager.

Now Care Services Manager at Bluebird Care Bromley, Ismail’s main task is to ensure his customers continue receive the exceptional 5 Star Care service that has made Bluebird Care one the leading providers of private Care across the UK. Ismail supports customers in Bromley, Keston, Orpington and surroundings areas.
Ismail has a degree in Product Design: he is very creative in his problem solving, has meticulous attention to detail, and in a previous life was a mentor and a graphics teacher for young offenders at HM Prison Rochester.
Ismail is a light-hearted, polite and charismatic individual whose main ideals are to enjoy life and promote happiness. As well as being a thrill-seeker, Ismail is a very grounded and family-orientated.

Rebecca Csazsar
Field Care Supervisor - Team B (East)

Rebecca joined Bluebird Care Bromley as a Care Assistant in 2011. Her daughter was just starting primary school and she was looking for a full time job that could work around school hours. A career in Care wasn’t something that she had planned, but for a young mum wanting to get back into work, Bluebird Care had a lot to offer her: tons of training, support – both professional and emotional – and flexible working hours to suit family life. As the years went by, Rebecca grew a real passion for caring for her customers and loved working for Bluebird Care.
She was delighted at the opportunity to progress in her career by joining the Office Team in May 2018 as Field Care Supervisor for Live-in Care, where her role is to support the team of Live-in Care Assistants and ensure the delivery of a high quality service to our Live-in Care customers. It is a very different role from that which she was doing previously, but she’s enjoying every minute of it and using all the experiences and skills that she gained over 7 years as a member of the Care Team. Live-in Care can be challenging at times, but she’s enjoying the interaction with her customers and their families, and of course supporting the network of Live-in Care Assistants.
Rebecca is a true Bluebird Care success story: she feel she’s achieved so much, both personal achievements and professional. She feels it’s a truly rewarding career and one that really opens your eyes to life in general. She says she’s met so many different characters along the way and gained memories that will last her a life time.

Nickesha Anderson
Care Coordinator

Nickesha has a degree in Business and Management from London Metropolitan University. After 8 years in retail, Nickesha sought a change of direction and decided to pursue a career in Health and Social Care in order to make a more meaningful difference to peoples' lives, largely influenced by a close family member's experience of the Care system.

She has been employed both as a care worker and a care coordinator for two Local Authorities since 2013 and joined Bluebird Care Bromley in the summer of 2015.

Nickesha's experience as a care worker puts her in a strong position to be able to understand both the needs of her customers and care workers and how central coordination is to ensuring a positive experience for both parties. 

Nickesha finds her position as a care coordinator challenging yet very rewarding, knowing how difficult the logistics can sometimes be to get right, yet how critical they are to a successful care arrangement.
