Our Live-in carers live with their customers in a spare bedroom. Placements can vary in length though most people work on a rotational basis: This can be discussed at interview stage. You must have at least 1 years’ previous experience in Home Care (or other healthcare role, such as Nursing). Responsibilities As a Live-in Care Expert, your key responsibilities will include: Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility Manage their medication and prep their meals Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance Benefits £105 - £135 per day Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks) Pension scheme Requirements A kind and caring nature Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality Have a Right to Work in the UK Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary If you care deeply and want to give the highest quality of care, at Bluebird Care, we make sure you have the time you need to do what you do best, the training so you can keep doing it better and the rewards that delivering such high-quality care deserves.
