We’re looking for an experienced Live-in Care Supervisor to join our live-in care team, working across our three franchise territories covering the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Southwark and Bromley, as well as Sevenoaks in Kent. Reporting to the Live-in Care Manager , this is a varied role where you’ll support our customers and care professionals, helping us provide high-quality live-in care that meets each customer’s individual needs. Your role and responsibilities As a Live-in Care Supervisor, you will: Respond professionally to new enquiries assigned to you. Carry out assessments with potential new customers to understand their care and support needs. Complete risk assessments and write and review care plans. Monitor the care being provided and make sure it meets the agreed care plan and Bluebird Care policies and procedures. Respond quickly when a customer’s needs change and update their care plan where needed. Report concerns, complaints and training needs to the Registered Manager. Take part in investigations when required and follow through on agreed actions. Support live-in care professionals and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members. Make sure care professionals have the information and guidance they need to provide safe and effective care and support. Work co-operatively with the three Day Care office teams to enhance the lives of Live-in Customers. Help plan live-in care rotas where needed. These are usually planned three months in advance. Make sure care professionals understand their schedules, travel arrangements and arrival times so there is a clear handover between placements. Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota. What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who: Has at least five years’ experience in health and social care. Has experience in a supervisory or similar role. Has good knowledge of care plans and relevant health and social care legislation. Holds a QCF Level 2, Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or is currently working towards a relevant qualification. Has strong communication, people and time-management skills. Is a confident driver and happy to travel between our three offices as part of a weekly schedule, under the direction of the Live-in Care Manager. Ideally lives within a 30-minute drive of the London Borough of Bromley.
