Lynn Billingsley
Field Based Supervisor

Having spent most of my life in Liverpool, I moved to York in 2015 to be with my partner Dave.

I love living in York as it is much smaller and quieter than Liverpool. Recently, my daughter Olivia has moved with me to York so we are able to spend much more time together.

I have a huge extended family and regularly travel back to Liverpool to spend time with them.

I don’t really have any specific hobbies, I just love spending time with my family and enjoy walking my dog Bobby.

 

I have worked in care for 28 years. I had a bit of a break to try different things and realised that there was only one job I was happy doing and that was care. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading and gardening and walking with my dogs.

Laura Ogley
Supervisor

When I joined Bluebird Care, I had come from a very different background as I had been working for a large railway company in a busy office.

After being made redundant from that role, I decided to have a complete career change and choose to work in care. I have now worked for Bluebird Care for four years, I started as a carer and progressed into my current role of a Supervisor.

Outside of work, I am a busy wife and mum of two young children who keep me very active!  As a family we enjoy spending quality time out together with our two dogs. I also enjoy crafts and particularly like making gifts for people.

Currently, I am studying for my NVQ level 3 and hope to have completed this by the end of the year.
