At Bluebird Care York we specialise in working with customers and alongside their families, so they can require care in their own homes. We offer many premium services that range from daily visits, companionship care to full live-in support, but we also offer person centred support, which goes beyond our services and gives that extra bit of help.

Do we get things wrong? Sometimes we do, we would not be human if we didn’t. However, what we expect is ownership and accountability from every member of the team, this will enable us as individuals and as a team to assess, monitor and improve.

How we got here

The catalyst for starting the company in 2011 was on the back of our directors poor personal experience of home care with his grandparents. He made a commitment to be able offer an alternative to the task based, high volume, soulless and poor customer service options that was on offer.

Fast forward nearly 10 years, and through the dedication and hard work of all our staff team, including those who have moved on, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved and the service we provide to our customers. It is up to every one of us to ensure we protect and enhance this reputation, through our actions each and every day, with each care visit, each phone call and every interaction.
