Ramaa Kalia
Operations Manager

I joined Bluebird Care Greenwich & Docklands, Stratford and Wapping in February 2018 and now Waltham Forest in November 2020, however I have worked alongside Bluebird Care Greenwich since 2013 in various other roles. Working with Bluebird Care I have found it very rewarding compared to my corporate background from previous jobs.

In the care industry, no two days are the same. We have the best teams in our offices, with difference personalities and abilities with the core value of putting our staff and customers first. Working with Bluebird Care, isn’t working with colleagues but family.

Karen Doe
Care Manager

My name is Karen and I am the Care Manager for Bluebird Care Waltham Forest. 

I am the link between the customers and our care assistants in relation to care visits. My role is to ensure that all our customers receive their care visits at requested times and to ensure our care assistants have their weekly schedules within an acceptable time frame.  I would rearrange care visits to suit our customers and upon their request.

I have 8 years experience working within the care industry. I first started my career as a care assistant in 2010 and within a very short period was promoted to senior care assistant/field care supervisor. It was in 2012 when I started my career as a care coordinator. 

I enjoy working within the care sector delivering a high quality of service while also promoting equality, diversity, dignity and respect and making a difference to our customers wellbeing.

Jessica Beech
Office Administrator and Support Coordinator

My name is Jessica, I joined Bluebird Care Waltham Forest in May 2017. I started with the company studying level 2 Business and Administration apprenticeship which I have now completed. Following completion, I then became the Office Administrator and within six months, also become the Support Coordinator as well. I have since then advance onto accounting completing my AAT Foundation and Advance diploma in Accountancy. Extending my job role to Accounts Assistant along with still being the Support Coordinator and Office Administrator. 

Bluebird Care Waltham Forest is a lovely company to work for and the whole team is very friendly and easy to get along with, I enjoy being part of the team and feel comfortable and relaxed working here.

Anoop Sekhon
Owner

Bluebird Care Waltham Forest is led by Anoop Sekhon. Anoop started delivering homecare in Waltham Forest to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Anoop’s absolute goal and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.

Anoop holds a BSc in Business Information Technology. She has worked with the Youth Service for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for 6 years as a HR manager.

Her background in working with young people, including those with significant care needs, has inspired her to work with people with a wide range of care needs and to open Bluebird Care (Greenwich) in March 2012. She is committed to ensuring that she provides a high quality service to the individuals she works with and that the exacting standards of Bluebird Care, UKHCA and CQC are satisfied in full.

Alberto Liberatore
Care Supervisor

My Name is Alberto, I have been in the care industry since 2014. 

I started as a Care Assistant. I enjoy helping people live a better life with simple acts of generosity such as giving them my time and undivided attention. 

I joint Bluebird Care in November 2019 as a Care Assistant and in January 2020 I was promoted to Care Supervisor. With my new job role, I help our customers in a more holistic way, supporting them to make decisions that enhance their overall wellbeing. I also support our new and existing care staff to learn and develop in their role.

In 2015, I earned the QCF Certificate in Health and Social Care Level 3. This gave me the opportunity to improve my skills in the health and social care sector and have the right foundation to perform my duties as a care worker and Care Supervisor.

Marketing Assistant

I joined Bluebird Care in September 2020 and fell in love with how passionate the team are about caring for people! The Bluebird Team are both friendly and supportive, and helped me settle into a brand-new industry. I really enjoy supporting Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company!
