Meet our team of care professionals

Sharon Luton
Live In Lead

I started my career at Bluebird Care as a carer and after just over a year I became field supervisor. I now manage the Live In department.

I thoroughly enjoy my role as I get the best of both worlds. Working in the office is great, there is a relaxed atmosphere and my computer skills, which were I might add were virtually nil, are surprisingly growing all the time. There is always somebody willing to help if help is needed.

The majority of my time is out in the field which is where I really come into my own. I absolutely love meeting the customers. Working with the live in care workers and delivering care should it be required.  All in all I feel very lucky to be a small part of the Bluebird Care team.

Katy Seal
Accounts Manager

I am the Accounts Manager here at Bluebird Care (South Glos) and joined in February 2019.

My role is office based and I work part time hours 3 days a week.  Predominantly, I pay all the suppliers in a timely manner, prepare and invoice healthcare bodies, pay debts as they are due, oversee the issue of customer invoices and ensure receivables are collected promptly, record cash, online and cheque receipts, make bank deposits, process the monthly payroll and assemble year end information for the external auditors.

Outside of work, I play netball in the Glos Prem League and am just starting my 31st season.  I also have 2 children who are both very sporty, so my free time is spent watching them, usually from a cold, wet and windy sideline!!

Amanda March
Quality and Compliance Officer

Amanda started her career at Bluebird Care as a care worker and is now the Quality and Compliance Officer.  She manages the Team Leaders, who support the care staff out in the field. Amanda also audits care plans and care notes to ensure we are fully compliant.

Rebecca Cornish
Customer Assessment Officer

I am primarily office-based, overseeing the majority of work on Pass system, which is the software we use to orchestrate the various tasks we carry out in each care visit.

I also meet many new customers to talk through what the would like their care to look like.

Sam Brown
Recruitment & Development Manager

I started with Bluebird Care South Gloucestershire) as a care worker, I thoroughly enjoyed this role and being part of such a great team.
I was a Field Supervisor for over a year, but became the Care Coordinator when the need arose to help knit together the operation.  This experience gave me the tools required to help drive the business as Recruitment & Development Manager.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughter.

Sue Mason
Business Development Coordinator

Sue started her career at Bluebird Care as Care Coordinator and has since progressed to Business Development Coordinator.  Sue is responsible for taking on new packages of care and ensuring that our customers and care workers are getting the times that they need.
