Meet our team of care professionals

Sam Brown
Team Leader

Sam started with Bluebird as a care worker. She thoroughly enjoyed this role and being part of such a great team.

She was a Field Supervisor for over a year, but became the Care Coordinator when the need arose to help knit together the operation. This experience equipped her with the tools required to help drive the business as Recruitment and Development Manager.

Sam has been on maternity leave for the last few months and has returned to Bluebird as a Team Leader.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughter.

What does Bluebird Care mean to me? "Working with the brilliant care team and supporting them in their roles. Meeting all of the new customers and being able to make a difference to their lives."

Rebecca Cornish
Customer Assessment Manager

Rebecca is primarily office-based, overseeing the majority of work on our PASS system, which is the software we use to orchestrate the various tasks we carry out in each care visit.

Rebecca meets with many new customers to create a bespoke tailored care package, personalised to suit their individual needs.

Kelly Hawker
Team Leader

Kelly is one of our 3 team leaders. She started out with us a Care Worker in 2018 and has since progressed to Team Leader.

"I have worked for the company for 4 years and love my job. Outside of work, I like to bake and spend time with my family."

Sue Mason
Business Development Coordinator

Sue started her career at Bluebird Care as Care Coordinator and has since progressed to Business Development Coordinator. She is responsible for taking on new packages of care and ensuring that our customers and care workers are getting the times and support that they need.

Correna Reed
Live In Care Manager

Correna has recently started as a Live in Care Manager. She brings a wealth of experience within this valuable sector and previously worked for us as a Customer Assesment Supervisor.

Katy Seal
Accounts Manager

Katy is the Accounts Manager here at Bluebird and joined in February 2019.

Predominantly, Katy pays all the suppliers in a timely manner, prepares and invoices healthcare bodies, pays debts as they are due, oversees the issue of customer invoices and ensures receivables are collected promptly, records cash, online and cheque receipts, makes bank deposits, processes the monthly payroll and assembles year end information for the external auditors.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys netball in the Glos Prem League.

She has 2 children who are both very sporty, so her free time is spent watching them, usually from a cold, wet and windy sideline!
