I started in 2017 as a care worker, I absolutely loved my job then I worked my way up to a team leader and was put on a team leading course. I started as a care worker in 2012, first time doing care and loved it so much I’m still here 11 years later 😂. I became a field care supervisor which I loved but had a baby so needed part time hours, Bluebird care fully supported me to come back as a care worker and to do and on call role. I also did my train a trainer course in manual handling, mental health and palliative care training 💙 Bluebird offer so many opportunities, most of which I would never of done without their encouragement.

3 years ago I started as a care worker for Bluebird Care Mid Staffs first time ever doing care.. i had so much support from management and carers.. I'm now care mentor which I absolutely love.. they have supported me in work and out.. we are a family 😊 within my 3 years of being with Bluebird iv done my level 2, mental health first aider and my level 3.. I love my job and everyone I work with.. bluebird Care do their upmost for all customers and carers.. I am so grateful for the opportunities they always have full faith in all carers in everything we do xxx

I have worked for Bluebird Care Mid Staffs since June 2018. I was at a point in my life where I didn't have any stability or structure or any clue what I wanted out of life. I applied, got a job and the rest is history. Being one of the "more mature" carers 🤣 I didn't know what to expect to be honest. But, the support I got was incredible. I found my confidence, self esteem and a work family 💙. I absolutely love my job and the support off management, supervisors and other carers is always there if needed. Career development is supported and encouraged. The focus on customer care and wellbeing is No1 priority. If there are any issues, it's sorted straight away.
