Meet our team of care professionals

George Morris
Franchise Owner

George owns and runs the Camden & Hampstead office. He brings not only relevant experience but also an honest and professional approach to the business.

He recognises that there has been a large increase in the demand for quality and reliable care and believes that care at home is a real and often better alternative to residential homes. George lives in the heart of the Borough of Camden and has a passion, along with his team, to provide the community with the highest level of care.

George has over 10 years management experience along with various qualification, including a BA (Hons) in Marketing.

His mother has worked in the care industry for the last 20 years.

I have always wanted to run my own business. Taking inspiration from mum and the knowledge I have gained of the market over the years, I am now extremely happy to be working with such a great and growing care team and running a business in this exciting and important market.

Karen Rides
Registered Care Manager

Karen started her career within the care industry in 2002 as a support worker, caring for people in her local community. She quickly realised she had a passion for caring for others and making a real difference to people’s lives. Through hard work and this genuine passion, Karen progressed quickly and has now gained a vast amount of experience in different areas within the health and social care sector. She has worked as a manager in the NHS and in both residential and domiciliary care across various locations in London. 
 
She is a trainer in medication, moving & handling, emergency first aid and dementia and is working towards her QCF level 5 Diploma award in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care. 

In her spare time Karen is very busy and sociable, running an under 15s boys football team, she also runs a ladies darts team. Karen has completed her FA level 1 coaching badge. 

I joined Bluebird Care because of their focus on their care team and the importance they put on training, supporting and appreciating them and what they do. Customer service, compliance and communication runs through everything we do and I am proud to be the registered manager at such a well-respected organisation.

We are excited to have Karen as our registered care manager as she brings not only knowledge and experience but also strong leadership and mentoring ability, she is well organised, compliant, motivated and resilient.  

Beatrice Bennai
Customer Care Manager

Beatrice has worked in care for nearly 10 years. Starting in the industry as a care worker she has continued to learn, and progress having been a coordinator, then focusing on customer safety and experience before joining Bluebird Care as our customer care manager.
 
Beatrice believes that good care can improve not only the quality of someone's life but also their whole wellbeing. She has seen first-hand the positive impact quality care can have, not just on the customer but the family as well.

I wanted to join the Bluebird Care team because of the emphases on promoting customer independence and quality of life while ensuring safety as a priority. As the customer care manager at Bluebird Care, I will work with all our customers to make sure they receive the best possible personalised support.

Amanda Lambert
Care Coordinator

Amanda has worked in the care sector for over 30 years. She started as a care worker in residential care when she was 17 years old.

She has completed different roles within the care sector and is happy to assist and learn in numerous areas however it is care coordinating that she enjoys the most.

I have always been very interested in learning all aspects of the care sector. My aim is as a Care Coordinator is to ensure that everybody receives person-centred care and that consistency for our care assistants and customers is a real focus

Nadia El Horch
Care Coordinator

Nadia has started her career in health care when she was 18 years old in her home town in Denmark. At the moment, she is doing an excellent job as a Care Coordinator as she makes sure both out customers and carers meet their needs.

Nadia says,

Joining Bluebird Care has exceeded all of my expectations. I am proud to be part of a team that goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible. As a care coordinator I enjoy interacting with all of our customers and care workers making sure they receive the personalised support they need.

 

Aka Obasi
Training and Development Officer

 

With over 17 years’ experience as a carer, trainer, assessor and internal quality assurer for Health and Social Care, Aka's role in Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is to ensure that our staff are trained and qualified in all areas of the job that they do. She uses her experiences and knowledge whilst working with other local health and social care professionals to ensure our team have the confidence and competence required to complete all tasks in a safe and person-centred way.

As part of a team of people who embrace change and quality, it’s a joy to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I love working in a friendly, caring team who support one another as it means the customers we care for, get the best service possible from the whole team. As a safeguarding champion, I am passionate about people receiving good quality care that meets their needs and wishes in a dignified and safe manner.
