Meet our team of care professionals

Kelly Doyle
Care Manager

I have been working in the care sector since 2008, I have worked in both domiciliary care and in residential care, which gave me the skills and knowledge I needed to give back to my community. I worked as a Care Team Leader for 3 years before joining Bluebird Care as a Care Manager. Since working at Bluebird Care in February 2022, I have been made to feel a part of the family. Bluebird Care have provided me with all the support I needed to take this next step in my career, and I am really enjoying my role. As a Care Manager, I take pride in supporting our team of carers to make a difference to peoples’ every day.

Sam Hatt
Live-in Care Manager

I have worked in the care sector since 2007. I worked in care homes until 2012 until I passed my driving test and was able to work within the community. During this time, I have worked as a senior carer, reablement team leader and end of life health care assistant with Marie Curie. I have also worked as Care Coordinator which I really enjoyed, and I learnt a lot from this role which has helped me with my knowledge and understanding.

I really enjoy community-based care knowing I am making a difference to the customers I support to keep them in their own homes.  I have recently joined Bluebird Care as Live in Care Manager and I have been made so welcome and supported by the whole team.

Katie FitzHenry
Quality Manager

My first role working in care was on a voluntary basis at a summer playscheme for children and young adults with learning difficulties when I was 16. I originally volunteered for 4 days and ended up working for the whole 6 week holidays. Since that initial role I have worked in a variety of positions; as a Care Worker, Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager of a residential home for adults with autism and now a Care Supervisor for Bluebird Care. I have also gained a degree in learning disability studies.

Working in this industry is my passion and I am proud to be part of a team whose focus is on delivering the highest standard of person centred care to all individuals

Sharlotte Hawkins
Recruitment Coordinator

I started working in the care sector a few years ago and I knew instantly that I'd found where I wanted to be. After a few years of being a Care Worker, I decided that I wanted to progress in the sector and accepted the job at Bluebird Care as Recruitment Coordinator.

I love the prospect of helping others find their love for 'care' which I did when I first started. The Bluebird team have been fantastic and have made me feel really welcome. Now I get to bring others into 'Care' with a company that really cares!

Tim Rowland-Jones
Franchise Owner

Tim Rowland Jones studied Business Management at University before going to work in the family business. Experience in staff management and customer service has helped Tim develop the Bluebird Care office. Tim Rowland Jones has always lived in Bath and as such understands the local community and knows the area very well.

Like many other people, his first real experience of the care industry came at a time when his own grandfather who suffered from dementia was admitted to a residential home. The care he went on to receive was of a particularly high standard, and this served as an inspiration and as the driving force behind his involvement with Bluebird Care.

Tim is now particularly passionate about caring for people living with dementia and dedicates much of his spare time volunteering at local day centres and the Royal United Hospital in Bath, spending time and ‘befriending’ people with dementia.

Claire Nolan
Area Care Manager

After first entering the care industry by working in a residential home at the age of 18 I immediately felt I had found my niche and had a real passion and drive for providing high levels of care and support to vulnerable adults.


After a career break to raise my family I returned to the domiciliary sector in 2010. I have worked as  care worker, senior, trainer and manager and could not imagine working in any other industry. 


I am a driven and motivated in providing a dedicated and professional high standard of person centred care to our customers and am thrilled to be a part of such a passionate and dedicated team.
