Shamim Ali is the founder and owner of Bluebird Care Wolverhampton, a leading premium home care service committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate in-home care. With over 4 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Shamim has dedicated his career to enhancing the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Under Shamim’s leadership, Bluebird Care Wolverhampton has grown significantly, establishing a reputation for excellence in personalised premium care. Director

Sajida Selina leads Bluebird Care Wolverhampton with a passion for providing an exceptional in-home care service. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Sajida’s dedication to enhancing the well-being of her clients has made her a respected leader in the field.

Her extensive background includes roles as a Lead Supervisor, Senior Health Care Assistant, and Care Coordinator. This diverse experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and operational aspects of home care services.

Since becoming the Director of Bluebird Care Wolverhampton in 2021, Sajida has focused on building a team of compassionate and skilled health care assistants. She emphasises continuous training and professional development, ensuring that her team stays up to date with the latest in-home care best practices.

Bluebird Care Wolverhampton is to continue setting the standard for excellence in home care, ensuring every client feels supported, respected, and cared for.

Steve Brookes
Registered Manager

Steve joined Bluebird Care Wolverhampton in August 2023.

Steve has worked in the social care sector in various roles since 1981 and worked his way up from a Care Assistant with the local authority to his current post, as Registered Manager. Steve has held Registered Manager roles for almost 30 years. He has experience in many areas including adult social care, learning disabilities and complex physical disabilities, complex needs services as well as older people and younger people services. 

Steve has experience of setting up and managing new services including residential services and autism services under the Transforming Care Agenda.

Steve is supported in the management of Bluebird Care Wolverhampton by a Care Coordinator, Anum.

Together, Steve, Anum, and the Directors constantly strive to ensure that all support delivered to our customers is of the highest quality, regardless of their assessed needs.

Anum Akhtar
Care Coordinator – Supervisor

Anum has worked within the care sector for 5 years and started with Bluebird Care Wolverhampton in June 2022 as a Care Assistant working her way up to Care Coordinator. Anum has also taken on the roles of Train the Trainer and Supervisor at Bluebird Care Wolverhampton.

As Train the Trainer Anum carries out the mandatory courses for new team members to ensure a structured framework is followed. This is to develop the team's competencies through impactful training sessions. Anum is highly motivated, proactive and has a positive attitude.

I'm keen to provide our customers with the highest level of care and support. Overall, it is a pleasure to work alongside and help to develop the team.
