Meet our team of care professionals

Norman & Claire Murphy

Husband and wife team Norman and Claire Murphy bring a wealth of professional management expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to setting up Bluebird Care Winchester & Eastleigh, Norman came from a professional services background and Claire came from the Bluebird Care head office.

Norman's experience in Overall Business Management, Human Resources and Customer Service has served him well in developing the Bluebird Care Winchester, Eastleigh & Romsey office and now has three other offices, Alton, Bordon & Liphook, Andover & Stockbridge and Petersfield & Havant.

Like many other people, Norman’s first real experience of the care industry came at a time when his own Father was diagnosed with Dementia and the World of Care suddenly entered his family’s life.

What Bluebird Care stands for is exactly the type of quality care provision that we want to be associated with. We judge ourselves daily by whether the service we provide would be good enough for one of our own family members.

Claire comes from a Marketing & PR background and joined the Bluebird Care Head Office Team in 2010 as the company’s PR Manager.

During her time in Head Office, Claire gained vital knowledge of the care at home industry learning what makes an excellent care in the home provider and most importantly what doesn’t.

Claire decided to use this experience and expertise and bring it to her own local community, leading Norman and Claire to set up Bluebird Care Winchester & Eastleigh in March 2012.

Claire is a local Alton girl and was very proud to bring our high quality home care services to her local community. Claire prides herself in the fact that we are not only caring for some of her local area's most vulnerable people, but also relatives of friends and family.
