Meet our team of care professionals

Becky Clements
Registered Manager

Becky's career in the Care sector began in 2007 as a Support Worker working with adults with challenges around their mental health, including dementia.

With this experience Becky joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks as a Care Assistant shortly after the office opened in 2012. Within a year, Becky's excellent work with customers earned her progression to Supervisor level, a role she enjoyed immensely.

With a change in management 2018, Becky was promoted to Deputy Manager and became Care Manager herself less than a year later - a promotion thoroughly deserved.

She believes passionately in the Bluebird Care ethos, which places customers always at the centre of the Care process. Becky really enjoys the variety of her role as well as the occassional the challenges! She takes great pride in being part of a team which provides a first-class service enabling vulnerable adults around Sevenoaks to remain living independently in their own homes.

Steve Davie
Director and Joint Owner

Home Care in Sevenoaks is provided through a franchise which is owned by Steve and Lesley Davie and their family. Steve is a Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience of organising the delivery of high quality professional services to demanding customers.

In addition to his accountancy profession background, Steve has several years experience in service-orientated consumer facing businesses at the 'high end' of the retail sector. This background, together with the support and experience of the Bluebird Care franchisor, has made it possible for Steve to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s Care specialists can provide structured and high quality care services to a range of customers within the Kent District of Sevenoaks.

In addition to his Sevenoaks Home Care responsibilities, Steve is a Governor at the University of Greenwich, treasurer of his local residents association in Beckenham, husband of more than 30 years to Lesley, father of three grown up children, and a lifelong and (after many years of misery) ultimately rewarded supporter of Manchester City football club.

Steve decided to become a Bluebird Care franchisee because he wanted to bring his knowledge and energy to a worthwhile activity that will bring benefits to vulnerable people in his residential area. The 'Good Old-Fashioned Service' ethos of Bluebird Care matches Steve’s attitude to work, and he is committed to creating a Care service that is treasured by its customers.

Ben Davie
Director and Joint Owner

Ben’s first 5 years post-University were spent in the Publishing industry, commissioning and developing content for one of the world's leading publishers of science, medical and technology books and journals.

In 2011, he took on a new challenge and joined his father, Steve, as a Director of Bluebird Care Bromley, and subsequently the Sevenoaks and Lewisham & Southwark franchises.

Ben’s role, alongside Steve, is to oversee the back-office administration of the agency, in particular the core non-care related activities of finance, marketing and overall business strategy, as well as supporting their Registered Managers in their human resources and customer service responsibilities.

Ben is proud to be part of an award-winning family business, especially one which provides such a high-quality – and highly-valued – service to the local community.

Vicci Connolly
Senior Care Supervisor

Vicci has been employed in the Care industry since 2003. She has worked in both Residential Care and Nursing Care Home settings, and has extensive experience of working with older people and those with Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

It was while working as part of a community project that Vicci realised that her passion lay in helping vulnerable and otherwise isolated people take an active and engaged part in community life, as much as it did in assisting them with their everyday care needs.

Vicci joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks as a Care Assistant in 2012. She was quickly promoted to the positon of Senior Care Assistant and finally to the office team as Care Supervisor in the autumn of 2015.

We feel very fortunate to have Vicci with us, furthering our ability to deliver the exceptional service that our Sevenoaks customers have become accustomed to.

Katie Wilken
Field Care Supervisor

Katie has a passion for helping people. He career in Social Care began in 2015 as a Care Assistant in a Care Home before moving into a Coordination role in 2017 for a provider supporting people with complex and continuing health care needs.

She had a short spell as a Coordinator for another homecare agency before joining Bluebird Care Sevenoaks in October 2018.

Katie lives local to Sevenoaks and her knowledge of the area puts her in a strong position to be able to coordinate efficiently. Katie loves working for Bluebird Care; she says it gives her an enormous sense of pride to be able to work with a great team and be helping vulnerable adults around Sevenoaks.

Danni James
HR & Recruitment Officer

Danni first joined Bluebird Care Bromley in 2013 as a Care Coordinator, after graduating with a degree in Business Management from the University of Greenwich. Danni was responsible for the continuity of care for customers and ensuring that care workers hit their target working hours.

Danni left in 2014 to pursue opportunities outside of Care where she spent three years building on her Compliance and HR knowledge. We were delighted to welcome Danni back in 2018 as HR & Recruitment Officer, focusing on Care Assistant recruitment and HR projects across both the Lewisham & Southwark and Sevenoaks offices.

Danni really enjoys building relationships both with the Care Assistants and between the offices, in order to help both teams strengthen their ability to provide essential services to vulnerable people in need of support to stay living indepedently at home.
