Meet our team of care professionals

Julien
Training Coordinator

Julien began his career in the training sector, he was a childcare assessor for 12 years and wanted to continue to work in a role where he helped people and made a difference. He heard that Bluebird Care provided quality care for their customers and wanted to be part of that.

Julien initially started working for Bluebird Care in a Maternity Cover Recruitment role, this involved recruiting staff for the Sevenoaks and Lewisham offices. When this ended a fantastic opportunity came up where he could meet our customers and find out their history and their preferences. He really enjoy this role, it was so lovely to meet our customers and find out their life histories.

Recently, Julien has been appointed as the Training Coordinator, He delivers our Skills Assessment and Refresher training to all staff in Bromley, Sevenoaks and Lewisham.

Julien says 'I enjoy seeing new people, training them about the care industry and what the role of a care worker involves. Our focus throughout training is delivering person centred care in a safe manner, respecting privacy, dignity and independence. Bluebird Care is a quality care provider. It has an individual approach to its customers and carers, and you feel that you are part of something special. It really feels like a family environment, where everyone is welcomed, valued, respected and cared for.'

Kelly
Live-In Care Supervisor

Kelly is the newest appoint Live-In Care Supervisor, joining the team in May 2023.

Kelly says ‘I have been in the Care Industry for around 13-14 years. I have worked in all different care settings from Supported Living, Domiciliary Care, Awake Nights, and Residential Care.’

Kelly states that Live-In Care provides the opportunity for one on one Care within someone’s home environment. She takes the time to really get to know her customers and carers, this allows her to build great working relationships.

Kelly completed her level 3 Health and Social Care in 2018 and since then, she has a real interest in care planning, person centred care is in the forefront of her job role, she knows that no two people are the same and their care should reflect this.

Kelly really enjoys the dynamics of the office, she feels her training and onboarding has been exceptional, she looks forward to a long and happy future with Bluebird Care.

Vicki
Recruiter

Vicki has only recently joined Bluebird care in June 2023. She has always worked in Administration and has enjoyed the variety these roles have given her.

She does not come from a care background, but secured a role as a  recruitment administrator with a care company 2 years ago. She then came to realize how rewarding employing the right carer for the customers is. So, she took the plunge and applied as a recruiter with Bluebird Care.

She loves how the carers she interviews are dedicated, caring and compassionate about providing the best care for our customers and how rewarding hiring the right candidate for our customer’s needs.

Charlotte
Registered Manager

Charlotte enrolled to study Midwifery and the University of Bedfordshire in 2011, though she soon realised that this wasn’t the career for her. She still wanted to work in the health care sector, however, which is how she came to join Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant in 2012.

Charlotte joined the office team as a Care Coordinator in 2013, responsible for organising her customers/carers weekly schedules – a fast-paced role which she enjoyed as it kept her on her toes whilst retaining contact with her favourite customers. Juggling her obligations to both her customers and her carers can be challenging at times, but she finds it extremely rewarding knowing that she is key to giving customers the Continuity of Care they expect and deserve. After a brief spell with a local competitor, Charlotte is happy to be part of the Bluebird Care family again.

Since returning to Bluebird care in Late 2019 Charlotte progressed to Deputy Manager before becoming Registered Manager in December 2022. Charlotte enjoys the new challenges in her role of Care Manager. Charlottes is extremely passionate about delivering high quality homecare to people within the local community and is proud to be part of the Bluebird Care Sevenoaks team.

Outside of work Charlotte is a keen fisher woman and is a proud member of the England Ladies Coarse Fishing Team, winning a "Team Bronze" medal at the World Championship in South Africa in 2019!
