Sam joined Bluebird Care in July 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from various roles within the care industry. Sam's journey in care began as a care assistant in November 2017. She has also worked as a Trainee Nursing Associate in the Urology Outpatients Department at Oxford University Hospital.
In November 2020, Sam moved to Grimsby and worked as a support worker, focusing on assisting individuals with learning difficulties. This role allowed Sam to develop specialised skills in supporting people with diverse needs.
Sam loves the care industry for the meaningful impact it allows her to have on individuals' lives, particularly in helping them remain in their homes for as long as possible. The variety of the role and the opportunity to build relationships with customers are aspects Sam finds particularly rewarding.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys a variety of hobbies, including reading, gardening, crochet, and cross stitch. Socialising with family and friends and exploring new places are also important parts of Sam's life, providing a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
