Meet our team of care professionals

Kerry Hobbs
Director

I decided to buy Bluebird Care following my own journey of trying to help my elderly Grandparents choose the care they needed, and the questions that arose throughout that journey of how to maintain the best quality of life that we could for them.

East Suffolk & Great Yarmouth is a very familiar area to me and where I and the majority of my family still live. It is very important to me that I contribute to this wonderful community and offer opportunities to the people that live there.

Both myself and the fantastic, dedicated team that I work with at Bluebird Care have a passion for what we do. We aim to be the quality choice for domiciliary and live-in care within our community.

Deena Malvin
Registered Care Manager

Deena has many years of experience in Health & Social Care and specialises in Dementia Care Autism & Learning Difficulties. She joined Bluebird Care in 2021 as a Care Supervisor after a long career in the Military and is now our Registered Care Manager.

We asked Deena what she thinks makes an effective Care Manager. Deena responded: “Great communication is the cornerstone of managing a team of carers. It ensures everyone is working together towards the common goal of providing the best care possible.”

In her spare time, Deena enjoys gardening, eating out and spending time with her family.

Cindy Learmonth
Care Supervisor

Cindy is our Care Supervisor. She joined Bluebird Care in 2018 and is our Infection Prevention & Control Champion. She has NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and also works alongside Deena to ensure our Carers are trained to the highest standard.

We asked Cindy what makes her tick, she responded: “I love making a difference in people’s lives where even small gestures can make someone’s day. If I leave someone smiling, I have done my job!”.

Cindy lives in Great Yarmouth with her husband & 5 children. She enjoys long walks, yoga & painting.
