Meet our team of care professionals

Sandi Sherman
Supervisor

Sandi joined Bluebird Care Exmouth in 2016 relocating from Bluebird Care in Exmouth and holding a Level 3 diploma in Health and social care.

Sandi works tirelessly to support and mentor the care team, as an accredited trainer in Moving & Handling and First Aid she is a vital part of ensuring they are adequately trained and knowledgeable to complete their role and this begins the moment they start with Bluebird Care.

Sandi also communicates with customers and other healthcare professionals including GPs and Occupational Therapists to ensure that the customers are receiving the very best support to enable them to live as enriched lives at homes as they possibly can. This begins during their first assessment with Bluebird Care, Sandi ensures that each one of our customers enjoys the ability to receive completely Person-Centred Care.

Teri Pannell
Coordinator

Teri Joined Bluebird Care in 2016 as a Care Assistant. Having lived in the local area all her life, Teri has extensive knowledge of the area which made her the perfect candidate for Care Co-ordinator.

Teri is able to organise and schedule Care visits based on location, time requirements, continuity for customers and care staff and matching as much as possible expertise and personality of staff and customers to ensure that everyone I happy.

Teri has also completed her Level 3 diploma in Health & Social care.

Sharon Wilkinson
Head of Care and Quality / Registered Manager

Sharon is our Head of Operations Care Registered Manager for Exeter. Sharon is an experienced Manager with over 22 years experience working in the Health Care Sector. Sharon is responsible for quality and care is group lead for training and recruitment teams. Sharon also manages the Exeter Domiciliary Team and service.

William Flint
Franchise Owner

William is a former NHS and Social Care Manager. He has extensive experience of managing and delivering high quality health services to the public. Locally he was responsible for the joint delivery of Health and Social Care services for Adults in Exeter, Sidmouth, Seaton and Axminster. William has achieved a Masters Degree in Health Care Management (University of Birmingham) gained whilst on the highly competitive NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme.

William is driven by a desire to provide responsive high quality care services, he is particularly keen to provide individualised services that enrich the lives of those receiving them. When not working William can be found surfing his "Mini Mal" at Polzeath and Bantham, or walking the Moors with his wife Sara and their dog, 'Poppy'.

Sara Flint
Franchise Owner

Sara is a Business graduate (Loughborough).  Her working career started in Business Management for British Airways (she was fortunate enough to fly Concorde to New York!!). Locally Sara has worked for NHS Devon and the local Stroke Network, based at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. She also managed the South West NHS Neonatal Networks which covered the Neonatal units from Gloucester to Lands End. Sara has always had a passion for the standards of care delivered to older people. For a number of her adult years Sara was a care worker supporting older people and so has "hands on" experience of care. Given her experience as a care worker she has uncompromising standards in the area of customer care. Sara is an avid reader and loves walking, particularly on the "High Moors" with William and their dogs 'Poppy' and 'Ruby'.
 

Jacqueline Fyall
Head of Business Development

Jackie is an experienced Manager joining us after 12 years with the NHS.  She is responsible for the legal and ethical running of the business ensuring that both our staff and customers alike are happy and having their needs met.
