Meet our team of care professionals

Ray Mortimer
Franchise Owner

Bluebird Care Ealing is owned and managed by Ray.  He has thirty years of experience of managing teams of people and developed over the years a passion for high standards in the workplace.

Born and bred in Ealing he was introduced to the world of care when his brother-in-law was diagnosed with a terminal illness and Ray decided to devote his time to providing a high quality care service to the local population in Ealing. He is ably assisted in this by a professional and capable office team.

Karen Doherty
Registered Manager

Karen joined Bluebird Care in January 2020, she has previously managed premium domiciliary care services in Kensington and Chelsea and Vauxhall. Karen comes from a family who all work within health and social care so it is in her blood!  She and has experience in all areas of care provision having worked her way up from a care worker, then to coordinator then to manager over the course of her career giving her insight to all aspects of the care delivery and in particular elderly care. Karen is originally from Donegal in Ireland and has lived in West London for over 25 years. Karen loves to listen to music, reading, socialising and spending time with her family.  

 

Vjekoslav Sisarica
Care Coordinator

Vjekoslav also known as Jack has over 4 years’ experience in the care industry and has helped coordinate home care for customers of all needs relating to age, mental health, reablement and palliative care.

Vjekoslav started his career as a care worker where his superb support and care for elderly people, led him to become care coordinator. He is working his way up in the industry and has shown huge potential for the future. Vjekoslav loves to meet his customers and care workers and ensure everyone is safe and happy.

Vjekoslav joined Bluebird Care in May 2017 as a care coordinator providing high quality support to his team and ensuring the wellbeing of our customers.

Velichka Nikolova
Training Manager

Velichka joined Bluebird Care as a Care Worker, 5 years ago.  In a very short period she proved to be a fantastic care worker was promoteed to Support Supervisor/Mentor.Since then she has progressed to Training Manager.

With 12 years of experience in the care sector, having worked with various client groups ranging from Elderly, Mental health and Learning Disabilities, she is one of our most skilled experts in training delivery.
 

Velichka has a great relationships with all care workers and is always very positive and very adaptable.  Velichka loves working in care and always willing provide support wherever is needed. She is currently doing her NVQ 3.

In her spare time Velichka likes to spend time with friends, walking and travelling

Lucy Charlton
Recruitment Manager

Lucy joined Bluebird Care Ealing in August 2016 as the care administrator, and started her current role is Recruitment Manager in 2018.
Lucy’s previous employment was based in recruitment and retail but just before Lucy joined she completed a business and administration apprenticeship within the care sector.
 
Lucy has a really good relationship with staff and is always happy to help where possible.
In her spare time Lucy likes to spend time with family and friends as well as reading and watching films.
 
Lucy is a happy and bubbly personality in the office and a real pleasure to work with.

Louise Telot
Events & Marketing Manager

Louise recently joined Bluebird Care Ealing. She has 19 years experience specialising in Marketing & PR. As the Events & Marketing Manager her role is to provide support and expertise to the Bluebird Care team and its customers. She has worked in the public and private sector and her skills range from corporate marketing planning, managing campaigns, events management, organising investment forums, round-tables, workshops, conferences and seminars to doing fundraising and marketing events for charities.
