Care Assistant

A career as a Care Assistant is varied, you will need to be reactive and proactive with great attention to detail to keep our customers safe. However, you will be rewarded by the satisfaction of helping someone vulnerable. Life as a Care Assistant is to provide help and support with daily tasks. This may be cooking, shopping, assistance with medication or day trips to name a few. These visits can last from as little as 30 minutes a day through to multiple hours in line with the customers’ needs.

Complex Care Assistant

A Complex Care Assistant provides advanced care at home, including clinical skills such as Tracheostomies, Ventilation, Suction and more. The role of a Complex Carer allows customers to stay at home, rather than being in a busy hospital setting. This means that the customer doesn’t have to rely on nurses, family, or friends to do the procedures, professionals do it, so they aren’t embarrassed or exposed, leading to a fulfilling life.

 

Live in Care Assistant

As a Live-in Carer you will have the opportunity to provide support and assistance to customers within the comfort of their own homes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised care based on individual needs and promoting a safe and nurturing environment. This position offers a unique schedule of two weeks on-duty, followed by two weeks off-duty, providing you with the opportunity for a healthy work-life balance.

The successful candidate will be required to live with the customer, providing all the identified care interventions as identified and assessed in their care plans and risk assessments. You will be required to sleep over in the home but would not be expected to carry out planned duties during the night.

You will be entitled to daily breaks of around 2 hours where you would be free of all care responsibilities which should be agreed to be taken after the customers’ needs have been met and is acceptable to both them and you.

 

End of life Care Assistant

As an End-of-Life Care Assistant you will provide end of life care for people in the later stages of life-limiting conditions such as dementia, cancer, organ-failure and more. You will aim to support customers and their family during this time and afterwards. The end-of-life care service you provide gives emotional support and promotes a positive experience, ensuring the customers physical needs are met, pain and discomfort are minimised, and the customer can achieve the things that they want.
