Meet our team of care professionals

Lynne Churchill
Director & Franchise Owner

Lynne Churchill became the new Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff South and The Vale. Lynne’s background is in Sales, Marketing and Recruitment. Lynne has vast experience of working alongside partner blue chip companies throughout the UK. Implementing marketing strategies, sales processes and winning major sales. Over the last 27 years Lynne has gained a wealth of experience in this area working specifically in Healthcare, Lynne will harness her experience to move the business forward to the next level. In her spare time Lynne enjoys cycling, walking and outdoor activities.

Julie Pope
Registered Care Manager

Julie Pope has been with the company since its outset in 2009.  Julie is a highly experienced Registered Manager who holds an NVQ level 4 in Management along with a QCF level 5 in Health & Social Care. Julie has worked in the care sector for many years starting with the NHS before moving to a large charitable organisation and then into the private sector.

At Bluebird Care Julie is responsible for the day to day running of the agency along with recruitment and quality control. Julie has a passion for providing high quality care and meeting the needs of our customers.

Rosie McQuade
Administration Assistant

Rosie has worked for Bluebird Care, the last two years as a Carer with our Cardiff South team. Prior to that, Rosie worked as an admin assistant supporting various people to ensure the smooth running of the back office. Rosie is currently doing her Level 2 Health and Social care and is also registered with Social Care Wales.

Emma Woodfin
Lead Care Supervisor

Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously managed a residential home for people with Learning Disabilities. Emma initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. In October 2016, Emma was successful in gaining the post of Lead Supervisor. Emma’s role is to lead and develop a team of supervisors and make sure work is allocated fairly. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Emma manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan.

In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Samantha Harrison
Care Co-Ordinator

Sam has been with Bluebird Care Cardiff South  for 3 years, She is the Care Co-Ordinator for Cardiff South and co-ordinates care for around 40 staff and over 100 customers. Sam is from a Care back background and is our IT whizzkid too. Sam has turned around Cardiff South into a slick operation glowing with positivity and has harnessed strong relationships with her care team and customers. Sam is the sunshine in our office and is always making us laugh. 

In her spare time, Sam likes to spend time with her family and partner.

Tania Donaldson
Care Supervisor

Tania spent many years in the catering industry before joining Bluebird Care as a Care Worker. It soon became clear that Tania had a passion for quality and was promoted to Care Supervisor for Cardiff South in April 2019. Tania is the first point of contact for her customers and Staff. Her main duties are completing spot checks, supervisions and quality reviews.
