Our General Manager, Chris Turner joined Bluebird Care Bury in December 2010 as a care worker and quickly built a reputation for the quality of his care and support, his excellent work ethic, professional manner and, most of all, his popularity with our customers.
He was promoted to Care Coordinator after two years, then further promoted to Assistant Care Manager in early 2014 . Chris ensures he is accessible to customers and carers whenever he is needed. He takes enormous pride in his care team, who reflect his very high standards and demonstrate daily what superior homecare looks like and what it can achieve for customers.
Although busy both in the office and at home with is partner and two young children, Chris has been successful in obtaining his NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, which enabled him to confidently take up the role of Registered Care Manager in June 2015, a role in which he was been extremely successful.
Chris left Bluebird Care for a short period of time at the end of 2018. He was offered a position as a regional manager for a nationwide Live-in Care company. It was a fantastic oppourtunity for Chris to gain more experience and he enjoyed his time there, however when the oppourtunity arose for Chris to return to Bluebird as General Manager he was excited to come back and take on a new challenge.
