Edward Banks
Owner

Bluebird Care Aylesbury is led by Edward Banks. Edward started delivering homecare in Aylesbury Vale to help and support customers who wish to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality homecare and support is paramount to Edward and his team.

Carlene Daniel
Care Manager

I began my Care Career in 2013. I started as a Care and Support worker,  making my progression to Care Manager in 2018. I started with Bluebird Care in 2014. Prior to working in care, I worked for 10 years at RAF Halton completing a variety of tasks. I thoroughly enjoy my job, no day is the same. I have met the majority of our customer’s which means  I know their needs and we have a great rapport. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and travelling to new places home and abroad. 

Leah Buckingham
Office Manager

I started working in care in 2002. Over the years I gained more experience and knowledge which led to me becoming a Branch Manager in 2007. I took some time out of care between 2008-2010 and again in 2012 to raise my children. I started working for Bluebird Care in 2014 as a Care Supervisor and quickly progressed to become the Recruitment & Training Manager. I have completed a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management. I spend my spare time with my three boys and my family.

Sammie Macknight
Care Supervisor

I started my very first job in care at 18 and have stayed in the care industry ever since.  I have been working in the care sector for 8 years and joined Bluebird Care in 2015.  After working as a Care Worker for a couple of years, I left to have my beautiful daughter.  When it was time to return to work I could not wait to come back to Bluebird Care and soon fell straight back into it.  I then join the office team as a Supervisor and now could not see myself working in any other sector.  I love my job, meeting interesting people every day and making a difference in someone's life.

Caitlin Chambers
Care Coordinator

I started working in care at the age of 14 when volunteering in a residential home, where I continued to work up until I went to university at 18. Three years later and having completed my university degree, I worked for a short period of time in childcare, but soon found my way back to the adult care sector. I started with Bluebird Care in March of 2020 as Care Coordinator for the Aylesbury area, and since being with Bluebird Care I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all of our customers and carers, and I could not see myself in another job role.

Paul Jones
Business Development Manager

I began my career in care working for Buckinghamshire County Council in 2004.  I have worked in various roles for large national companies and small private providers, with a long stint at Bluebird Care (Aylesbury) from 2011 until 2019.

I joined as Care Manager shortly after the company started, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing a new service with high standards of care flourish and grow.

I rejoined Bluebird Care to support the fantastic team in further growth and development, promoting the amazing work that our care and office team do day in, day out.
