Meet our team of care professionals

Michael, Tania and George
Directors

The Bluebird Care Aylesbury office is owned and operated by husband and wife Michael & Tania Hackett and George Morris.

Michael, Tania and George all met at University in Manchester in 2000 and have been close friends ever since. With complimentary skills and qualifications, all have extensive care management experience owning and running other successful Bluebird Care offices in London. They have personally seen first-hand the importance of quality driven, person-centred care due to family situations. which they are in turn passionate about delivering to their customers.

Before working in the care industry Michael spent the majority of his professional life working for the global recruitment business Michael Page where he specialised in placing people into a range of positions in the Health and Social Care sector. This experience of working in a “matching” industry means Michael understands the importance of selecting and placing the most appropriate Care Workers with the right customers.

Tania is a qualified solicitor with eight years post-qualification experience in employment law. Tania’s background in legal and compliance has made it possible for Bluebird Care to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s care specialists can provide high-quality care services to a range of customers across the borough of Haringey.

George has over 12 years management experience. Prior to care George worked for two global recruitment search companies working across different time zones and with many different nationalities. With a diverse management and marketing background George understands the importance of creating great culture as well as developing and supporting staff.

Michael, Tania and George are open, honest and friendly, so please feel free to contact them directly with any thoughts or questions about Bluebird Care Aylesbury, and how we might be able to support you and your family.

Sammie Macknight
Care Manager

I have worked specifically in Domiciliary Care for over 10 years and have gained a great passion for my career in care, and making a difference in people’s lives where I can.

Over my time with Bluebird Care since 2015, I have taken on many roles from Care Worker to Supervisor, Care Coordinator and now Care Manager.

This gives me great knowledge, experience and understanding of each integral part of maintaining safe, effective person-centred care for each of our customers. I always ensure I take time to get to know each customer we care for and their needs, and I will always aim to go above and beyond to provide the highest standard of care.

Leah Buckingham
Training & Recruitment Manager

I started working in Care in 2002, for a Home Care agency based in Middlesex. Over the six years of working there, I steadily took on more roles until I was the Branch Manager. I left Careforce in 2008 to have my first child and spent a few years working as a Care Worker whilst raising my two children.

Having moved to Buckinghamshire, I started working for Bluebird Care as a Care Supervisor in 2014. I then took the role of Training & Recruitment Manager in 2015.

I have completed the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.

Jade Burton
Care Supervisor

I started working in the care sector as soon as I turned 18. It has always been important to me to be able to do a job that helps and makes a difference. In 2020 I studied longer-term care for the elderly and go myself a foundation degree. I’m always happy to help anyone and feel if I’ve made at least someone smiles in the day, then I have done something good. I’ve just started at Bluebird Care as a Supervisor and everyone has already made me feel welcome. I’m looking forward to starting my journey and making a difference.

Charlotte Carpenter
Care Coordinator

I began my career within health and social care initially as a health care assistant for a complex care company working with clients who have significant medical and clinical needs. I progressed within my role to a senior carer overseeing the internal management of a package supporting a C2 spinal client that required 24 hour care, working within and mentoring a multidisciplinary team to achieve individualised client based care. Having recently joined Bluebird Care as a care co coordinator I wanted a position that would allow me to diversify and understand all aspects of health and social care as well as the respective roles that contribute to a leading care company that provides safe and efficient person centred care and support to its customers.
