Support Worker - St Ives

Job description

Hello, my name is K and live in St Ives

I’m looking for a male support worker with initiative to join my team, it is my preference to be supported by male support workers.

The Support I will need involves, simply preparing food and cooking meals, supporting me with eating and drinking, supporting me by administering my medications, providing support with my personal care, some light housework, errands, sometimes food shopping and driving my adapted van. There is a team room available for you to use throughout the day and I will call out to you when I require support from you.

About me

I’m a very independent person. I enjoy spending time on my computer, listening to music, watching TV, reading comics and gaming on my PS5.

On occasions, I would like you to accompany me by driving my van, as I may like to go to the cinema, shops or to the pub.

I also like to go away to visit family, friends and see a band playing.

I have an electric guitar that I designed myself, which I would like to start playing again.

Before Covid-19 Lockdowns, I was very sociable and, in the future, I plan to get back out more often, though this will be in my time and at my own pace.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.62-£11.82 per hour and £17.43  per hour at Bank Holidays.
