Roles and Responsibilities: 

As a Live - In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a vital companion, but also to ensure our customers can remain independent in their own home and cherish the memories they have made there.

Duties will include:

• Supporting with personal care duties
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with nutrition and hydration needs
• Supporting with household chores
• Shopping on behalf of or with the customer
• Accompanying customers on social outings 
• Providing invaluable companionship

Experience and Suitability:

It isn’t about previous experience. We want to ensure our customer receives the very best care and to do that we need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if they were their own family.

Live - In Care Assistants are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and carers are compatible.

We provide a detailed induction training programme to all our staff in addition to shadowing, to ensure all our staff are not only competent but confident in what they do. You will have a dedicated mentor that will provide you with ongoing support throughout your probation period.

Essential Criteria:

• The Right to Work in the UK - we are NOT able to offer sponsorship 
• Excellent level of English both (spoken and written)
• Patience and understanding
• A warm friendly smile

Working Patterns:

We understand that every member of our team has their own family to care for and a life outside of work, this is why as a Live - In Care Assistant with us you can choose one of the following placement patterns, this will ensure continuity for both you and our customers.

• 2 weeks on 1 week off
• 3 weeks on 1 week off
• 4 weeks on 2 weeks off
