Salary: £27,000 per annum and paid milage at 30p per mile

Earn an additional £400 in the first 3 months of employment!!

£200 pre-employment training bonus paid after successful completion of training & £200 joining bonus paid upon successful completion of probation.

We are looking for full-time experienced Care Assistants to join our End of Life team in Newcastle on a permanent basis. If you are seeking a new opportunity and want to work with one of the region’s leading Home Care providers we encourage you to apply within.

You will be working as part of our Fast Track service to help those who are in hospital be discharged home in Newcastle. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on others' lives. While a background in Palliative and end-of-life care, PEG, Catheter, pressure care, and oxygen therapy is advantageous, it's your compassionate nature and ability to connect with customers that we value most.

Our working pattern for a full-time employee is 3 days one week and 4 days the following week, with alternative weekend work required. You will work an average of 42 hours per week.

2 years minimum care industry experience is desirable. However, for those with less experience we have a robust pre-employment training programme which provides all essential onboarding procedures to Bluebird Care. You will also receive ongoing support provided by our dedicated Care Team Leads, experienced Senior Management Team and approachable Office Team.

This is a mobile role so it is essential that you have a Full Valid Driving Licence and access to your own reliable car/vehicle.
