Salary from £26,000 pa - £30,000 pa NVQ3 in health & social care required.

Office Based 8.30 - 5.00 pm ( Plus on-call duties)

    Purpose of the role:

    • To ensure that our care experts have excellent support so that customers receive excellent quality care and support to keep them safe and comfortable in their own homes
    • To support care experts so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability
    • To actively maintain and promote Bluebird Care’s Vision and Values amongst the care expert workforce
    • Work with our Care Mentors & Care Champions to monitor and deliver outstanding care to our customers. 

    Key responsibilities:

    Support the Care Manager with:

    • Ensuring that Bluebird Care provides safe, effective, high-quality care that responds to each customer’s needs and preferences; and
    • Ensuring that our services respect customers’ choices and promote their dignity and privacy at all times.
    • Working in partnership with other health and social care professionals to ensure customers get the support they need.
    • Managing the activities of the care experts, in accordance with Bluebird Care’s standards.
    • Take part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota as and when required. Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues e.g. covering calls either directly or indirectly when care assistants are sick or absent. Record emergency calls and pass the information to appropriate parties.

       

      Essential Criteria:

      • Work flexibly to meet business needs
      • Must have an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care
      • Must be a driver with your own car with a full UK drivers licence
      • Must have the Right To Work in the UK without sponsorship
      • Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check
      • Must be a team player
      • Must have great communication skills
      • Must have IT skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
