We are recruiting Home Care Assistants to join the Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea team.   • A salary between £13.65 and £14.85 per hour
  • Bus travel expenses covered (calculated on distance travelled between customers)

Essential skills, abilities, and requirements:

  • Previous care experience is not required. We recruit for our core values – kindness, empathy, compassion – and train for excellence in care
  • The right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • A passion for delivering a gold standard of bespoke service
  • Support delivered varies for each customer but could include personal care, medication administration, manual handling, domestic duties, meal preparation, shopping, social inclusion and outings, supporting doctor’s appointments and hospital visits
  • Recording and reporting with detailed care notes for every visit
  • A desire to continually promote and carefully monitor our customers’ health and well-being with a keen focus on customer preferences and personal outcomes
  • A respectful and courteous approach that is mindful of professional boundaries
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do mentality
