Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1-1 care and support to individuals in their own homes
• Supporting customers with household chores/ general tidying and cleaning
• Assisting customers with personal care, including washing/ dressing and toileting
• Prompting and administering medication to customers where required
• Supporting customers at meal times, including preparing and serving hot and cold meals
• Providing customers with social and companionship care, including food shopping and attending medical appointments

Requirements

• Must be reliable, friendly and approachable with good communication skills
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Must have permission to work in the UK (without sponsorship)
• Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided
