You’ll be working in family homes and community settings, providing personalised support that helps each child feel safe, included, and empowered. This is a deeply rewarding role for someone with experience working with children and a genuine passion for improving lives. A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential. Our care is delivered across a rural area, so reliable transport is required. What You’ll Do Deliver person-centred care, including personal care (e.g. washing, dressing, feeding, toileting) Support children with physical, sensory, behavioural, and medical needs Help with daily routines: school runs, mealtimes, bedtime Encourage communication, independence, and confidence Support community outings and social interaction Follow detailed care plans and record accurate notes Work in partnership with families, schools, and healthcare teams What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (care, education, support, or health settings) Confidence and compassion in providing personal care Strong communication and problem-solving skills Flexible availability (some evenings and weekends required) Calm, respectful, and child-focused attitude Experience in complex or additional needs is a bonus Benefits Bluelight Card for discounts Mental health & wellbeing support Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Car hire assistance available Training & Development Paid, specialist induction training Ongoing support & CPD Clear career progression in children's and complex care Please note: This role requires a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Homecare Team Leader – Mid & West Cornwall Pay: £13.62 (weekdays) – £13.82 (weekends) per hour Bank Holidays: +50% uplift Hours: 30 hours per week (mix of care visits & admin time/ rota-based working) Location: Mid & West Cornwall About the Role We’re recruiting a Homecare Team Leader to support our services across Mid & West Cornwall. You’ll work closely with the Area Manager, ensuring high-quality homecare while guiding, supporting and developing a team of Homecare Assistants.
