We’re looking for a kind, reliable Live-in Care Assistant to join our local team and make a genuine difference every day.

Being a Live-in Care Assistant isn’t just about tasks. It’s about building trust, offering reassurance, and helping someone live their life with dignity, independence, and companionship.

About the role

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will live in your customer’s home during agreed placements, providing consistent, one-to-one support. You’ll become a reassuring presence, helping with everyday life while respecting routines, preferences, and independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personalised care that encourages independence

• Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Preparing meals and supporting with medication

• Helping with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping, and errands

• Supporting customers to stay connected with friends, family, and their community

• Offering calm, compassionate support during illness, hospital appointments, or end-of-life care

• Working independently, with ongoing support from our experienced care team

What we’re looking for

• A genuinely caring, patient, and respectful nature

• The ability to live with customers for agreed live-in placements

• A commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and following care plans

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

• Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)

• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided
