Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking to progress, or an established Care Supervisor looking for a fresh opportunity with a supportive, award-winning team?

Bluebird Care Wirral & Liverpool is looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Care Supervisor to help us continue delivering exceptional home care to people within their own homes.

Working alongside our Registered Manager and office team, you'll support our Care Experts while ensuring every customer receives safe, person-centred care of the highest quality.

As Care Supervisor you'll:

  • Carry out customer assessments and care reviews
  • Complete spot checks and quality assurance visits
  • Conduct staff supervisions and competency observations
  • Support medication competency assessments
  • Maintain accurate care plans and risk assessments
  • Monitor care quality and compliance with CQC standards
  • Support new Care Experts during induction
  • Build positive relationships with customers and their families
  • Respond professionally to customer concerns
  • Assist with emergency care cover where required

No two days are the same, making this an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys both people management and delivering outstanding care.

Essential:

  • Previous domiciliary care experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Good IT skills

Desirable:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Medication competency
  • Experience using electronic care planning systems such as PASS
  • Experience completing customer assessments and reviews
