Bluebird Care Maldon's Career Pathway has been introduced to provide five different levels of care assistant so that there is progression within a caring and supporting profession. This gives care assistants recognition for the skills and qualifications they have, instead of every staff member being on the same level and salary after passing probation, regardless of skills and experience.
We are proud to be able to reward our staff for their abilities and have outlined the five different grades of care assistant we have:
- Trainee Care Assistant
- Probationary Care Assistant
- Care Assistant
- Senior Care Assistant
- Community Team Lead
Our care assistants also receive paid travel time, paid mileage (as you need your own vehicle and driver’s license to travel between our customers' homes), enhanced bank holiday pay and holiday pay.
