We are recruiting a full-time Care Field Supervisor to join the Bluebird Oxford team who will help deliver the gold standard of care to our discerning customers across our area.
You will join our outstanding team that helps supports people live independently in their own homes across the area. You will be expected to travel within our territory for spot checks.
As our Care Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the office with the efficient running of the area and the supervision of the care team and the care provided to the customers within that area. Supports with customer care assessments, care & support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
Responsibilities
- Act as a source of support and mentoring for all Care Workers.
- Give care assistants appropriate information and guidance to effectively and safely provide care and support as agreed in the care and support plan.
- Ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively.
- To work as part of the team delivering care to customers who otherwise would not receive a visit.
- Responsible for the quality-of-service delivery to the area and supporting the Customer Care Manager to make sure that all care plans are delivered accurately at all times. To monitor and support Care Assistants “in the field” to ensure that the best possible standard of care and support is delivered, in line with company policy and legislation.
- To be part of the team which supplies on-call services as per the oncall rota.
- To attend customer reviews when required
- To carry out observations on required Care Workers.
- To maintain all reporting and recording procedures.
- To liaise closely with Coordinators, Managers, Customers and Care Workers.
- To attend team meetings as required.
Work effectively with customers, their families and representatives, other social and health care professionals and managers and staff from Bluebird Care to deliver high quality homecare services

Requirements
- Excellent understanding of the social care sector
- Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Must hold a full UK driving licence & Access to a vehicle for work purposes (Must be insured for business use)
- Experience in domiciliary or similar healthcare settings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisation skills
Desirable
- Previous supervisory experience
- Risk assessment/care & support planning qualifications
- Medication administration qualification
- Ability to write care and support plan/reviews
- Leadership Skills
