Children's Support Worker

We are looking for passionate, patient and motivated Female Support Workers to join our exceptional team, supporting children across the Cheshire East area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care to children aged 5–18 (and occasionally younger) who present with challenging behaviours, often associated with ADHD, Autism, or related conditions.
Experience in community care for children with challenging behaviours and an understanding of Positive Behavioural Support plans is essential.

We can't care for our clients if we don’t care for our team, so we offer all our Support Workers:
- Rate of pay: £13ph
- Bank Holiday: £15.80ph
- PAID travel time (Paid at £13ph)
- PAID mileage at 30p per mile

Your Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support children with challenging behaviours in line with their personalised support and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) plans
- Provide structure, reassurance and meaningful engagement during morning, afternoon and evening routines
- Support children safely within the home and community
- Encourage independence and promote confidence
- Provide compassionate companionship and positive interaction
- Assist with personal care when required
Required Availability
Term time:
- Mornings: 07:00–09:00
- Afternoons/evenings: from 15:00
- Weekends
School holidays:
- Approx. 09:00–17:00, depending on client needs
A willingness to also support adults is a bonus, though our priority is expanding our children’s care team.
To Be Considered, You MUST:
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Have valid right to work in the UK (no sponsorship or visa transfer available)
- Live locally in the UK and within reach of this role
- Have experience supporting children in the community with challenging behaviours
- (Desirable) Knowledge of epilepsy management and use of communication tools such as Makaton or PECS
- Be able to commit to the required working hours
