Responsibilities

As a Live-In Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care duties,
  • Administering medication,
  • Manual handling, using equipment where required,
  • Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.
  • Household chores
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping
  • Social Outings
  • Offering our customers companionship

Requirements 

  • A kind and caring nature
  • Ability to live with customers for agreed periods of time
  • Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies
  • Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Flexibility to move from one customer to the next. 
  • Have a Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous live in care experience is a must
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is a must
  • Switch of care sponsorship available
