WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
This isn’t clock-in, clock-out care.
As a Live In Care Assistant, you’ll provide:
- Personal care delivered with dignity
- Meal preparation (including traditional British meals)
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and outings
You’ll become a trusted presence in someone’s home — helping them live safely, independently and with joy.
Because “Live in Care Assistant” isn’t just a title — it’s a standard.
REQUIREMENTS
- A strong command of the English language (IELTS level 7 if English is not your first language)
- Good understanding of traditional British cooking/recipes
- A caring, dedicated and professional attitude

Positions available at Bluebird Care: Colchester & Tendring and Braintree & Uttlesford.
- Care Assistant: £13.15 – £17.12 p/h (£12.75 starting rate if under 2 years’ experience)
- Clinical Carer: £14.10 – £21.50 p/h
- Live In Carer: £875 – £1,150 per week
- Awake Nights: £14.10 – £17.50 p/h
- Sleep-ins: £110 per night
