This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating people, schedules and services. As our Care Operations Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring our care visits run smoothly by managing the rota, coordinating staff availability, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the service.
Working closely with senior management, you will help ensure that our customers receive safe, reliable and high-quality care while supporting our care team to deliver their best work.
Responsibilities
As a Care Operations Scheduler, your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and managing the daily and weekly staff rota, ensuring care visits are allocated safely and efficiently.
Scheduling and setting up new care packages and customer visits
Communicating rota updates and changes to care staff and customers in a clear and timely way.
- Coordinating staff availability, holidays and absences to maintain effective service delivery.
Supporting the coordination of the on-call rota and assisting with operational issues when required.
Working closely with the Deputy Manager and leadership team to ensure care visits are delivered safely and consistently.
Monitoring the rota to ensure continuity of care and efficient travel planning.
Supporting the planning of team meetings, events and operational activities.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring systems are updated in line with company procedures.
Acting as a key point of contact for carers regarding scheduling queries and support
- Work closely with the business owner to meet KPIs and growth targets

Requirements
- A social care qualification
- Experience in domiciliary and social care management
- Great leadership, communication, and organisation skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work flexibly and manage on-call and deliver care where needed
