• Our recent Xmas party with staff and customers, featuring arts and crafts, music, biscuit decorating, dancing and special hot chocolates!
• We got into the Halloween spirit with pumpkin carving sessions for staff and customers.
• We took part in the Clacton Carnival, dressing up as Grease characters and creating decorations with our team and clients during arts and crafts sessions.
• We’ve created over 1,300 Dementia Friends through our engaging Dementia Friends Sessions.
• Our Director was recently pied with shaving foam by staff and customers (all in good fun!).

We do so much for our local community, and our staff love to get involved where they can! We run multiple fun/games/social events in community halls, providing our customers and members of the public the chance to do something fun and positive.

We take pride in our work, and we take pride in you - we’re looking for a caring and dedicated person to join our Expert Team as a Care Assistant, to help us set the standard.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant/Expert:

• Personal care
• Monitoring seizures
• Monitor Oxygen Stats overnight
• Nebulisers
• Suctioning

Positions available at Bluebird Care: Colchester & Tendring and Braintree & Uttlesford.

Care Assistant: £13.15 - £17.12 p/h (£12.75 starting rate if under 2 years’ experience)
Clinical Carer: £14.10 - £21.50 p/h
Live in Carer: £875-£1,100 (depending on complexity of package)
Awake Nights: £14.10 - £17.50 p/h
Sleep ins: £110 per night
