Hours: Mon and Fri 830am-5pm. Tues, Weds, Thurs 12-5pm
Pay Rate: £14 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our friendly team at Bluebird Care. Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day financial processes and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Bluebird Care – Wiltshire North.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate customer invoices and credit notes using software.
- Send statements and liaise with customers regarding outstanding payments.
- Check and input supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and input all payments and receipts.
- Manage petty cash and reconcile monthly.
- Deposit cheques and cash promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing and posting journals.
- Handle prepayments and accruals on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Provide timely financial information to the Directors.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain GDPR responsibility.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Trustworthy, honest, and reliable.
- Experience in bookkeeping and credit control.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient IT systems such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll, accruals, and prepayments.
Desirable:
- Experience with SAGE or One Touch Platform.
- Understanding of HMRC requirements.
