Finance Coordinator (Part-time) 30 Hours per week 

Hours: Mon and Fri 830am-5pm. Tues, Weds, Thurs 12-5pm 
Pay Rate: £14 per hour

About the Role 

We are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our friendly team at Bluebird Care. Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day financial processes and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Bluebird Care – Wiltshire North.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Generate customer invoices and credit notes using software. 
  • Send statements and liaise with customers regarding outstanding payments. 
  • Check and input supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments. 
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and input all payments and receipts. 
  • Manage petty cash and reconcile monthly. 
  • Deposit cheques and cash promptly. 
  • Assist with payroll processing and posting journals. 
  • Handle prepayments and accruals on a monthly/quarterly basis. 
  • Provide timely financial information to the Directors. 
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies. 
  • Maintain GDPR responsibility.

  • Experience in bookkeeping and credit control. 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills. 
  • Proficient IT systems such as Excel and Word. 
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of payroll, accruals, and prepayments. 

 

 

Desirable: 

  • Experience with SAGE or One Touch Platform. 
  • Understanding of HMRC requirements.
