Deputy Care Manager – Domiciliary Care (Permanent) 

Locations: Newark & Nottingham

Salary: From £28,000

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our domiciliary care service on a permanent basis, supporting both our Newark and Nottingham offices.

This role will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the services and will step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave, ensuring continuity of leadership and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the daily management of domiciliary care services across two offices

· Supervise and support care staff in the community

· Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care

· Assist with recruitment, training, supervision, and audits

· Carry out spot checks and quality monitoring

· Support care planning, safeguarding, and incident management

· Step up as Acting Registered Manager during maternity leave

· Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover when required

Requirements

· Experience in a senior or deputy role within domiciliary care

· Level 3 Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)

· Good knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

· Flexible to take part in on-call rota
