As a Registered Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of care professionals - ensuring our services are not only safe and compliant, but that we’re also providing the best of care for our customers. 

Responsibilities

As a Registered Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the safe and high-quality delivery of our care services
• Leading day-to-day operations and manage performance, budgets and resources
• Supporting your team through recruitment, induction and supervision
• Ensuring we’re compliant with regulatory regulations and our company standards
• Monitoring quality, manage risk, and drive improvements across your teams
• Representing Bluebird Care at local events, forums and professional networks
• Working closely with the business owner to meet KPIs and growth targets
• Hosting regular team meetings to maintain effective communication amongst the team
• Attending monthly manager meetings with our central team and sister offices
• Effectively managing complaints and incidents and carry out investigations accordingly

Requirements

• Qualification in Health and Social care (Level 5 or equivalent)
• Domiciliary and social care management experience
• Great leadership, communication, and organisation skills
• Previous experience of managing a CQC inspection
• Be able to work calmly under pressure, with a flexible approach to change
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Ability to work flexibly
• Have experience in dealing with people where service excellence is paramount
