Responsibilities
As a field care supervisor key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the registered manager and/or Deputy manager with:
· The efficient running of a designated case load of clients and the supervision of designated care assistants;
· Ensuring that Bluebird Care provides safe, effective, high quality care that is responds to each customer’s needs and preferences; and
· Ensuring that our services respect customers’ choices and promote their dignity and privacy at all times.
· Deliver outstanding person centered care to our clients

Requirements
Kind, caring and professional – Compassionate, reliable and respectful, with strong professional boundaries and a clear commitment to non-discriminatory, person-centred care that respects individual backgrounds, beliefs and medical needs.
Knowledgeable and compliant – Good understanding of home care needs, person-centred care planning, confidentiality, safeguarding, and health & safety within community care settings. Holds a relevant health or social care qualification, or is willing to work towards one.
Strong communicator and team player – Builds positive relationships with customers, families and health and social care professionals, demonstrating good emotional intelligence and effective communication.
Skilled, organised and proactive – Able to plan and manage workloads effectively, write clear and accurate care plans, risk assessments and records, and use initiative to solve problems, including working independently and responding appropriately in emergencies.
Leadership and administration skills – Confident in leading and supporting care assistants, providing guidance and training, with good computer literacy and an understanding of the importance of accurate documentation.
Flexible and committed – Willing to work flexibly, keep skills and knowledge up to date, comply with all company policies and procedures, and meet role requirements including Enhanced DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points), Class 1 business insurance and a valid MOT.
