We are recruiting experienced Live-in Care Assistants to support vulnerable adults to live independently at home. Working across Bromley and neighbouring Bluebird Care offices, our carers benefit from consistent placements and strong local support.

Role Overview

Live-in Carers stay in the customer’s home (private bedroom provided) and work on rotational patterns. Minimum placement length is one full week.

Responsibilities include:
 • Personal care
 • Meal preparation
 • Medication support
 • Housework, shopping
 • Social and emotional support

Carers receive a daily 2-hour break, supported by the local team when customers cannot be left alone. Overnight on-call is not routine once the customer is settled.

You are employed directly by us, we handle tax, insurance, training, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in Home Care or a relevant healthcare role
 • Strong English skills (written, verbal, reading)
 • Must pass an Enhanced DBS check
 • Calm, patient, professional, and able to think clearly under pressure
 • Must live in the UK, ideally within the South East region
 • Must have the right to work in the UK (British passport, Ancestry Visa, or valid visa)
 • Genuine compassion for vulnerable adults is essential
