Hours: 37.5 hours. Office full-time hours Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm with opportunity for flexible working due to nature of the job. On-call duties of 1 in 5 weekends on average.

Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Supervisor to join our team in Carlisle, where you’ll supervise care assistants, manage a designated area efficiently, and ensure our services consistently meet customers’ needs while promoting their dignity and privacy.
You will:
- Conduct assessments with customers (and their representatives) to identify needs and create tailored care plans, regularly updating them as necessary and ensuring confidentiality at all times. Ensure all care plans are compliant, person-centred, and bespoke to the customer's needs and preferences. Regularly review customer care ensuring that care plans are up to date. Be the first point of contact for customer queries, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support, mentor, supervise and oversee care staff, ensuring they provide exceptional care to our customers. Assist in staff training ensuring that our care team is compliant with care standards. Attend initial customer visits to introduce the care assistant.
- Work with our coordinator to plan care runs and shift coordination, appropriately matching carers to customers. Participate in the on-call rota, handling emergency situations and arranging cover for staff absences.
- Monitor service quality by conducting reviews, investigating any issues related to the service, and implementing improvements where needed.
- Carry out risk assessments and provide our care team with responsive knowledgeable support across all aspects of care and support.

What we’re looking for:
- You must be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care.
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Provide excellent customer service with a smile in a supportive and calm manner.
- You must have at least 2 years of experience working in domiciliary care and have an NVQ3 in health and social care or equivalent, or be willing to work towards one. Senior carer or supervisor level experience desirable.
- Show initiative and complete agreed actions, working as part of our team to achieve business outcomes together.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a drive to continually learn and improve.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK and not require sponsorship in any way.
