Our customers deserve to feel safe, supported and comfortable in their own homes, day and night. In this role, you’ll provide reassurance, companionship, and essential overnight care. You’ll work independently within the customer’s home, with a supportive team available whenever you need them. Responsibilities
As a Waking Night Care Assistant, your key duties will include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred night-time care
Offering reassurance, monitoring wellbeing and supporting with mobility throughout the night
Assisting with personal care (e.g. toileting, washing, dressing for bed or morning routines)
Supporting with medication and safe handling
Carrying out light household tasks such as tidying and laundry
Accurate record keeping and reporting any concerns
Being a dependable, calm and friendly presence throughout the night

Requirements
No driving licence required for waking night roles
A kind, compassionate and patient approach
Good communication skills and the ability to build trust
Ability to follow individual care plans and maintain clear records
Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the night
Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential—full training will be provided
