We are looking for a warm, organised and engaging Live-in Care Assistants to support one of our customers — an elderly gentleman who enjoys companionship, conversation, and reminiscing about Ayrshire’s rich local heritage.

If you’re someone who can create a welcoming home environment and loves cooking simple, nutritious meals, this role could be a perfect fit.


What You’ll Do

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will:

✨ Provide personalised care that maintains dignity and independence
✨ Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
✨ Prepare home-cooked meals suited to the customer’s needs and tastes
✨ Support with medication routines
Maintain a clean, tidy, and comfortable home
✨ Handle light household tasks — laundry, cleaning, shopping, and errands
✨ Offer warm companionship, conversation, and support with hobbies
✨ Encourage connection with family, friends, and Ayrshire’s local community
✨ Provide compassionate support during illness or hospital visits
✨ Work independently with full 24/7 backing from our Ayrshire care team


What You’ll Receive

  • £914.97–£1054.97 per week

  • Flexible patterns (typically 1–3 weeks on, followed by scheduled breaks)

Who We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient, and respectful individual

  • ️ Someone with great communication skills who enjoys conversation

  • Interest in Ayrshire’s history, culture, and local stories

  • Ability to manage household duties and keep a clean, organised home

  • Confidence in preparing simple, nutritious home-cooked meals

  • ️ Ability to live in the customer’s home during agreed shift patterns

  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and care plans

  • Right to Work in the UK

  • A driving licence is helpful but not essential
