Live-in Care Assistant

We know we can only deliver excellent care if we look after our team, so we offer:
- £700 - £800 per week
- £50 per week shopping allowance

What you’ll do
As a Live In Carer, you will live with the customer for periods at a time and provide safe, reliable and compassionate support tailored to their individual needs and wishes. Respect, dignity, choice and independence are at the heart of this role. You will build positive relationships with the customer and their family and be mindful of their home environment and privacy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting with personal care, daily routines and mobility needs
- Assisting with medication, food planning, shopping, cooking and hydration
- Light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe home environment
- Encouraging social interaction, hobbies and meaningful activities
- Escorting to appointments or community activities
- Reporting changes or concerns promptly to keep customers safe and well
- Keeping accurate care notes and maintaining confidentiality at all times
What we’re looking for
- Full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK without spοnsοrship or vіsa transfer requirements
- Strong level of English with excellent communication
- Naturally kind, caring, respectful and professional
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently with good judgement and initiative
Live In Carer experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. You must be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
