Why work for Bluebird Care?

Because we’re the best at what we do! We are the Home Care Employer of the Year 2025 (Great British Care Awards) and we earned that award because we truly look after our Care Assistants and our team.

We love to have fun with our staff, providing lots of opportunities to get involved with awareness days, some serious and some just a bit of fun. For example:

  • Our Director was recently pied with shaving foam by our staff and customers
  • We have been pumpkin carving with our staff and customers for Halloween
  • We attended the Clacton Carnival dressed up from the movie Grease and made all of our decorations with our customers and staff over some arts and crafts sessions in our office.
  • We have made over 1300 official Dementia Friends through the Dementia Friends Sessions we run.

We do so much for our local community, and our staff love to get involved where they can! We run multiple fun/games/social events in community halls, providing our customers and members of the public the chance to do something fun and positive.
